Current Affairs Recap: The Ultimate Guide for SSC GD 2026
Unlike History or Polity, Current Affairs (CA) has no fixed syllabus. Anything happening under the sun can be a question. However, if you analyze the SSC GD previous year papers (2022-2025), you will see a pattern. The questions mostly revolve around “Person in News”, “Sports Winners”, and “Government Initiatives”.
To help you revise effectively, we have compiled a Topic-Wise Breakdown of the last 6 months. This guide acts as your quick revision notes.
1. Important Appointments (Who’s Who?)

How to Prepare Current Affairs for Next Sets?
Don’t try to read everything. Follow the “Reverse Engineering” method. Look at the questions in our Mock Test and study those specific topics. For example, if we asked about the “G20 Summit”, you should also read about “BRICS” and “ASEAN” summits.
Revision is the key to memory. Check previous sets: Next Up: Set-07! We will bring “Previous Year Questions (PYQ) Special”. We will pick questions directly from the 2024-25 Exam Paper.
