How to Check SVMCM Status Online?

If you are a fresher or renewal applicant, follow these steps to track your application on the wbhed.gov.in portal:

Enter Credentials: Input your Applicant ID (Starts with WB…) and Password.

Stage 2: District Level Verification

After leaving your college, the application goes to the Government Office in your District. Depending on your course, it goes to different departments:

DPI (Directorate of Public Instruction): For College/University Students.
DI (District Inspector): For School Students (Class 11-12).
DTE (Directorate of Technical Education): For Engineering/Polytechnic Students.

3. Approved by District / DPI / DI

Meaning: This is a major milestone. The government officials have checked your documents and found them valid. Your application is now 100% Verified and is waiting for the State Treasury to release funds.

Wait Time: Once approved by the district, you might have to wait for 1-2 months for the fund allocation.

Stage 3: State Sanction & Disbursement (The Money Stage)

Meaning: Congratulations! The Finance Department has released the money for you. A “Scholarship Disbursement No” is generated against your ID.
