📋 Who Can Apply? (Essential Criteria)
The recruitment board strictly adheres to the eligibility norms. Ensure you meet the following requirements before applying.
🎓 Education Qualification
Must have passed Madhyamik Examination (10th) from WBBSE or equivalent. Candidates with a Science background are often preferred in interviews, though it’s not mandatory.
🎂 Age Limit
18 to 27 Years (General).
- Relaxation: 5 Years for SC/ST, 3 Years for OBC.
- Note: Age calculation date will be mentioned in the official notice.

“No Swim, No Job”
Candidates must have the ability to swim extensively. You will be tested on your swimming skills (usually 50 meters or endurance swimming) during the Physical Test. If you cannot swim, you are not eligible.

Fire Operators need robust physical strength. The minimum standards are:

💪 Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Passing the PMT is just the beginning. The real challenge lies in the Endurance Test. Candidates typically have to perform the following tasks (Qualifying Nature):

You must complete the run within 5 Minutes.

Ladder Climbing
Climbing a fire ladder (approx 20 seconds) to test height phobia.

Rope Climbing
Climbing a rope using hands only (mandatory test of upper body strength).

High Jump & Long Jump
High Jump (1.22 Mtrs) and Long Jump (3.65 Mtrs) are often included.
📝 Written Exam Syllabus (80 Marks)
The written exam is objective type (MCQ). The standard of questions will be of Madhyamik (10th) level.
